CA BAUTA*s seven rooms are located at the piano nobile of a fifteenth century palazzo, which has just been restored. The luxurious rooms, an impressive 4,70 m. high, surround a large central hall, a Venetian salone embellished by antique furniture and fittings. The building, which preserves a genuine Venetian atmosphereis located in the populous district of Castello, leisurely 8 minutes walk from St. Marks. The Inn*s name, Ca* Bauta, derives from the bauta, the original mask worn during the Venetian Carnival.
